Do you want to inspire the next generation of leaders to make real social impact?

Semester 1, 2024 recruitment now open!

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are seeking students who are interested in creating a real social impact to join the team. You will be joining a friendly team of enthusiastic and committed individuals who really want to make a difference. We come from a variety of educational backgrounds - Arts, Science, Commerce and Design students at both an undergraduate and postgraduate level are all encouraged to apply.

Operations Team

The Operations Team is an integral part of the MMI Team. It spans across many functions, including Events, Communications, Sponsorships & Partnerships, People & Culture, National Affairs and the GMCC.

Within our Operations Teams, you will learn great skills in teamwork, organisation and communications. Moreover, your support underpins our club’s ability to maximise its social impact. If you are reliable, hardworking and interested in how MMI is run, we would love for you to join us!

Initiatives Team

Our Initiatives Teams work with microfinance institutions or not-for-profit organizations across the Asia-Pacific on different consulting projects. In the past, these projects have included social impact surveying, credit risk assessment and market entry assessments. Our teams conduct secondary and primary research to complete their projects, and receive support from external mentors and academics at the university. MMI thus offers students the opportunity to solve real problems faced by microfinance institutions whilst making a global impact.

In the mid-year break, teams often work closely with the organisations to collect first hand data through interviews, surveys and focus groups (either online or in-person). It is a great opportunity to interact directly with those who are impacted or will be impacted by your work first hand, and to gain deeper insight into the consulting experience.
