Jacob Luu

Jacob is a second year Bachelor of Commerce student, majoring in Finance and Economics. He joined MMI in Semester 1 2023 as a project consultant, working on a microfinance credit assessment project with a client in Uganda. In 2024, he is the Vice President of Initiatives alongside Vivienne.

Jacob is attentive towards the internal and external evaluation of MMI’s operations. Internally, this involves ensuring the wellbeing and professional development of MMI committee members. Externally, MMI’s impact evaluation team works to track the social impact of MMI’s consulting projects following implementation of recommendations, seeking to identify key quantitative and qualitative metrics. 

In his free time, Jacob is either snowboarding, or planning snowboarding trips. He also hopes to become completely fluent in Italian, believes he has a superior music taste than yours, and is an avid sunset enthusiast.
