Liam Nguyen
Liam is a second year Bachelor of Commerce student majoring in Accounting and Finance. He joined MMI in Semester 1 2023 as a Communications Officer, creating social media content. In Semester 2 2023, he switched into the role of People & Culture Co-Director to focus on the personal and professional growth of the internal committee.
He was initially drawn to MMI for its commitment to social impact and the opportunity to support disadvantaged communities globally through microfinance projects. Liam has previously volunteered at Equal Ed, offering educational support to younger students in local marginalised communities, and he aims to continue advocating for equal opportunities for all children. Liam is also interested in the business side of the pharmaceutical industry, aiming to further analyse the impact of each stakeholder, spanning from producers to consumers.
Outside of MMI, he enjoys spending quality time with friends and family. Liam also loves exploring Melbourne’s food scene, and he is on the search for a 10/10 restaurant (follow @liam.reviewss for extremely consistent food posts).
