Zhixuan Zhang

Zhixuan is a third year Bachelor of Commerce student, majoring in Economics and Finance. She moved from Brisbane to Melbourne for university and joined MMI as a Project Consultant in Semester 1 of 2022, before moving into the role of Vice President of Initiatives in 2023. 

Zhixuan has a keen interest in behavioural economics, as well as its intersectionality with the energy transition. She has contributed to MMI’s publication of A Guide to the Energy Transition, a student-led whitepaper tackling everything Energy Transition related. She is also fascinated in the startup landscape and capital markets, with prior intern experiences at investment bank UBS and Greenhill, as well as wealth management firm Frais Capital.

Outside of MMI, she enjoys catching up with friends for brunch/coffee, going to pilates, and flying back to Brisbane. Having navigated the complex transition into university life, Zhixuan is always down for a chat over an aperol spritz, oat latte, or a matcha.
